Caye Caullker is a pristine island with a laid back charm. Roughly 11 miles south of Ambergris Caye it is a short 45 minute ferry ride away or best explored on a full day snorkel and sailing trip from Ambergris Caye.
Island Hopping to Caye Caulker
Your island hopping adventure begins with pick up from the SunBreeze dock.
It will be smooth sailing South towards Caye Caulker. First stop will be at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley where you will experience some incredible snorkeling. Shark Ray Alley is a popular favorite. If you are looking for wildlife encounters with sharks, Shark Ray Alley, in Hol Chan Marine Reserve is the place to visit. You are guaranteed to see schools of fish and friendly docile nurse sharks, and rays. Once back on board, you will continue on a leisurely sail to Caye Caulker.
Caye Caulker is a small island with a laid-back atmosphere. The island is populated with colorful wooden homes, sandy streets, beach bars, restaurants, local craft stores, and street food stalls. You will have time to explore this quaint sister island at your leisure .
